Everyone goes fitness crazy

CNN: A fitness revolution is sweeping the Chinese capital Beijing, as more and more urbanites discover the need to ward off the flab, relieve stress and build self-esteem. Those who can afford the average US$50 monthly membership fee at a Beijing fitness center pump their bodies in group aerobics and one-on-one sessions with personal trainers. In China, 60 percent of fitness fanatics are women.

BBC: The world has gone fitness crazy. Every time you visit a gym, there seems to be a new type of fitness class added to the timetable. Gym's try to appeal to as many people as possible. When very few men were attending aerobic style classes they created boxercise so the class didn't sound too wimpy.

Are Malaysians joining the bandwagon? We have so many fitness centers popping up recently...
